When you register for the remote course, you will receive a digital workbook as part of your enrollment. ValueX2 via the Scaled Agile Inc.® community platform will provide digital workbooks for all class participants and offer a wide range of online resources through the SAFe® community platform. You can also print a copy of your digital workbook by downloading a PDF to your computer and printing it as needed.
The training costs cover the cost of certification for one year. After 12 months have passed, you will need to renew your certification annually with Scaled Agile Inc®.
To renew your membership, please follow these steps:
a. Log in to the SAFe® Community
b. Click on the "Renew" button located next to your membership expiration date on the homepage
c. Review and select the membership level that best suits your needs from the options presented.
Renewing your certification is included when you renew your Certified Membership. You can find a link to
your “My Certs" page on your SAFe® Community Platform homepage, where all your certifications will be
listed. The expiration date of your certification is based on the date of purchase. If you renew before the expiration date, you’ll be given 12 months from the listed expiration date, if you renew after the expiration
date, you’ll be given 12 months from the date of purchase. Note that you don’t need to take the exam again to renew your membership.
You can renew your membership even if it has expired. Simply log in to the community portal and click the “Renew” button next to your expired membership. There are no penalties for renewing late and you won't need
to retake any exams to maintain your certifications.

You can renew your SAFe® membership 120 days before it expires. Once you’re within 120 days of the expiration date, a “Renew” button will appear on the homepage next to the expiration date. The required skill level to pass the SAFe® for Teams (SP) exam is intermediate. This means that the person should be proficient and capable of performing tasks with some guidance or help.
Upon the successful completion and attendance of your 2-day course, you will receive an email from Scaled Agile, Inc®. No, you won't be allowed to pause the test and you’ll only have 90 minutes to do it. You can open the window again right away if you unintentionally close it. You must contact support@scaledagile.com if you are unable to access the test for a prolonged time or lose your internet connection.
Upon the successful completion of the course, individuals shall be entitled to undertake the SAFe® for Teams (SP) certification examination within a 30-day window, with the first attempt being offered at no expense.

By attending the SAFe for Teams course, which is 2-days live training, you will get access to the knowledge and materials required to pass the SAFe Practitioner exam. The 45 Questions are structured in a multiple-choice, single-select format which need to be completed in 90 minutes along with a 80% passing score.
Access your Certificate by navigating to the Manage Profile and Professional Development section of our platform. Under the Certifications/Programs tab, locate the paper icon next to the desired Certification Name and click to download. Please be advised that when printing, some logos and signatures may not appear on the certificate. To ensure all elements are visible, please make sure to select the option for “Background Colors and Images” in your printer settings.

It is possible to retake the assessment, however, a fee of $50 will be charged for each attempt. The option for a second attempt on the exam (first retake) can be utilized immediately following the initial attempt. For the third attempt, a waiting period of 10 days must be observed. A 30-day waiting period must be observed before attempting the exam for the fourth time.
If you take the exam within 30 days of completing the course, the cost of your first exam attempt is included in your registration fee. However, if you are unable to take the exam within this time frame, you can still access it and request a one-time courtesy extension from your Scaled Agile Community profile. To request the extension, you must wait until after your exam expires, and then follow these steps:
1) Log in to the SAFe Community
2) Select "Learn" and "My Learning" from the tabs at the top
3) Select “In Progress”
4) Select the course for the exam
5) At the bottom of the learning plan, click the blue “Extend time 2 weeks” button next to the exam
6) Agree to the terms of the extension.
This will give you an additional two weeks to complete the exam without charge. If you do not pass the exam or do not complete it within this time, you will need to purchase a retake. Note that you can only activate the extension one day after the original exam expiration date. This extension option is available for 30 days after the original exam window closes. If you are outside of this window, you will need to purchase an Exam Retake to complete the exam.
Your first exam attempt is included as part of your course registration fee, provided it is taken within 30 days after your instructor confirms your attendance. This 30-day exam window expires at 11:59 p.m. (23:59:59) in the time zone specified in your account settings. To view your time zone, please navigate to My Settings, then to Preferences, and make any necessary adjustments by clicking the Edit button at the bottom of the Preferences section. Remember to save and close your settings. Please note that it is important to ensure that you have
enough time to complete the exam before it expires, as any incomplete or in-progress exams will not be saved and additional time will not be provided.
As part of the course registration fee, your initial examination attempt is included, provided that it is taken within 30 days of your instructor’s confirmation of attendance. The 30-day examination period expires at 11:59 PM in the time zone specified on your account. An extension policy is available if required.

Upon completion of any certification course, the Project Management Institute (PMI) grants Professional Development Units (PDUs) and the Scrum Alliance grants Scrum Educational Units (SEUs) to the candidate. These units serve to acknowledge the professional’s participation and verify their understanding of Scrum principles and practices. To maintain your certification from the Scrum Alliance, it is necessary to acquire a specific number of SEUs every two years.
By participating in the SAFe for Teams 2-day training program, you can earn a maximum of 14-16 Professional Development Units (PDUs) and 14-16 Scrum Education Units (SEUs).
Professional Development Units (PDUs) and Scrum Education Units (SEUs) acknowledge your commitment to the Agile and Scrum community.
